Pleasantly Simple Rye Ale


Your basic ale, with some rye thrown in for good measure. Worth noting this is my first all-extract beer since the very first batch I brewed back in college, circa 2004. I had forgotten how much easier the process is!

Two different yeasts were added.  Both a pack of Safale S-05 and
an old vial of WLP's Belgian Strong Ale (expiration date of more 
than 5 months ago), direct pitched. I figured between the two of
them they should have enough oomph to get this thing fermented.
