Slash / Colorado Ale

edit

This is a relatively simple beer, but hopefully the unusual yeast will add an interesting character. Supposedly this yeast can give hints of banana flavors, and it also often leaves behind more unfermented sugars than other yeasts. In an attempt to dry the beer out as much as possible, I mashed low (145ish) for the first part of the mash.

This beer was loosely based upon the Graduation Ale that I brewed in 2009 for my law school graduation, but I made some significant modifications.
